Boot Camp

I have appointed myself as everyone's coach. Fashion coach, 5K coach, "you need to drink more water" Coach, etc. Pushy? Me? Alright. A little. Of course, I'm referring to here and here where I am referred to as running a boot camp (one of 5K training- doesn't that make you want to run?- and one of thrift store shopping). I DO cringe when I think of lambasting people with my opinions of a jacket or skirt. Poor Whitney. She is a new girl at our church who is sweet and eager to be friends. She doesn't know how "lovingly" I lambast people. Sorry Whitney. I was lambasting her with my self-righteous fashion sense. Can I just say... I love to go thrift store shopping with people. Tell me your size and I'm all about finding you some cute stuff. And then I will run over you with how you should wear it. Seriously, Mack truck of fashion coming through. Cringe. Anyhoo, I hope she'll be my friend. She's fun and adorably cute. And cool.

I have no defense for the 5K boot camp (did I have a defense for the thrift store boot camp?). I'm kind of a control freak with the stopwatch and I like to be on the outside of everybody who is running. mmm, fun. I'm not helping my cause of "getting more people to train for a 5K", am I? Or maybe you need someone like me to boss you within an inch of your life.

Speaking of running... I'm due at the gym in 25 minutes. Better go fetch my whistle and baton. Get moving!!!!

PS... I love my friends, and I'm grateful that they want to be friends with a crazy, bossy, pushy, cynical, OCD person like me. They show me grace. Teach me more!

I'm wondering if you read my blog before you posted this??? If not, what a funny co-inky-dink (bootcamp) :)
