Harry Anderson and Oatmeal Cookies

To people from Community Presbyterian Church: did you ever notice that Burt looks a bit like Harry Anderson from Night Court?

To people not from my church: my pastor looks a bit like Harry Anderson from Night Court. I like Harry Anderson; I think he's funny. What happened to him after Night Court anyway? Curious. I am a lurker on Burt's blog. I love his posts. Check him out.

Today is going to be rainy. Pooh. The only consolation is that March comes NEXT WEEK! I have piano lessons today and I have to admit something... I do love piano lessons, but I really love that I give my friends' kids piano lessons and then my friends stay and chat. Today Leslie's and Crissy's oldest daughters take lessons and they will stay and chat. Decaf coffee and a nice dessert- with a 30 minute piano lesson thrown in the mix. It's something I'm looking forward to. I love having good friends who like to chat over coffee. Got nothing to do this afternoon 'round three? Pop in. I'll make a fresh pot of coffee. I'm thinking oatmeal cranberry cookies for something sweet. Oatmeal cookies always sound good in the winter. Mmmm...

Told Quinn I'd make breakfast; have a great Thursday!

When my mom met Burt the first time she told me later that she thought he looked like Harry Anderson. Loved Nightcourt, especially Bull!

Burt IS Harrry Anderson, without the magic tricks!

So what you've really just said is that your friends pay you to come to your house and you teach their kids and then you make them food!

I love Chai...(going back to your Mom's comment) Thats all they drink in Kenya and I liked it.

Rainy rainy day!

Daffodils are about 4 inches high right now in my yard. It won't be long! About 2 more weeks and there will be a wave of yellow heads nodding at me as I pull into my driveway. Can't wait!

Chai for me, too, please.

I can't keep daffodils in my yard. I have a certain daughter that finds tremendous beauty in them and picks them as soon as they come up!

I bet Burt can't stick a large sewing needle through his arm, complete with blood and everything,(illusion)as Harry did in Saturday night live early in his career. That blew my mind back then!

Had a lovely time yesterday. Thanks for the cookie dough. And the coffee. Oh, and the piano lesson. ... And the introduction to The Office. Very fun times.

Okay please tell me Rachel is kidding...I have a sneaking supsicion she's not though! DARN - I think it was on Nick at Night when I was growing up so maybe I'm not that old!! I'll just keep telling myself that!

Harry Anderson is hot!

No Rachel (who hates court shows, unfairly I might add), Night Court is a sitcom from the eighties. Harry Anderson was the judge and he loved Mel Torme. Funny show.
